The “Charta of Peace” was written in September 2017 by a group of 100 young people from 25 countries all over the world after an experience of volunteer work in Madaba, Jordan. They came into contact with Syrian and Iraqi refugees and became aware of all the struggling and suffering that the refugees have faced since the beginning of the conflicts that are affecting the Middle East.
These volunteering camps want to inspire and help to thing about refugees issues in a new way: through collaborative community development with Jordanian citizens and new arriving citizens hosted in the country. The solidarity experience is made possible by the warm hospitality of Caritas Jordan.
Two weeks in El Salvador to collaborate in social, pedagogical and educational projects. To this project we invite young people of at least 18 years who are open for intercultural exchange and interested in building competences in civil comittment and cultural skills in Central America.
Providing new perspectives for a sustainable future and a future-oriented society to young citizens and contributing to the inclusion of refugees and marginalized young people: this is the focus of the project "Future Lab" and its three intercultural youth exchanges in the Danube region.
