All activities are meant to create platforms for the youth and young adults, to make them discover their talents and abilities and to put them in places where they can be of service for their fellows and the society as a whole.
The Starkmacher association supports people who are willing to change our society for the better. We are a platform, that starting from good ideas and idealism develops projects, brings together professional knowledge and looks for means of funding. In doing so we have elaborated an established expertise in using European programs, which we place at the disposal. Together with various dedicated partners we give answers to present-day challenges such as:
Intercultural cohabitation
Youth unemployment
Respectful and appreciating social relationships
Constructive use of new media
Protection of our planet
Through the tremendous efforts of many people, we already achieved quite a lot. Nevertheless, we work without a safety net, meaning without a huge sponsor or investor in the background. For every activity we need people that carry our network. Therefore every kind of support that we can use to continue improving our world with more and more people every day, is very much appreciated.
Various EU programs support our work. We usually receive 70% of the necessary funding for our activities as a support contribution. 30% must be financed through own resources. Please support us to achieve this own funding and help us so that we can help many more in their creative and idealistic work.
